Extensive Experience

Dr. Jalal brings 15 years of experience in the services offered. Our Associates also bring a strong educational and professional background in DEI-B, and have worked in various sectors including corporate, non-profit, public health and regulatory bodies.

Assessing

We need to understand the current state of your organization to support your DEI efforts. We design a Self-Assessment Tool that is distributed to your employees, leadership team, board and other stakeholders. Our tool will help you get a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses in DEI-B. We then will help you to focus on the right things at the right time.

Some organizations only require a self-assessment while others benefit from our full-service offerings:

  1. Building and delivering training. The workshops educate your team on any gaps we discover, or any topics you wish to learn about.

  2. Customizing a DEI-B Strategic Plan for your organization. This comprehensive, multi-year plan allows you to continue the work in a tangible, measurable manner.

  3. Conducting DEI -B Policy/Document Reviews, to ensure important organizational documents are assessed through a DEI-B lens and “fit-for-purpose.”

 

Training

Our workshops seek to educate and engage anyone in your organization. This includes employees at all levels, executives, board members and other stakeholders. They are interactive, which ensures that key concepts can be applied right away.

Sessions are usually a minimum of 2 hours, but can also run for a full day or even multiple days. Many of our clients opt to run sessions over several weeks or months. That format lets your people absorb and engage with the material between sessions. We can also furnish Certificates of Completion if desired. We are happy to develop a learning plan that works for you and your budget.

We always respect the comfort and privacy of your participants and do not record our sessions, but can do so at your request.

 

Implementing

When we complete our training sessions, most clients are ready to follow through with specific DEI initiatives. 

We will help you build measurement and evaluation frameworks. These frameworks help you find out what works and doesn't work and tackle any challenges along the way.

 

Speaking

Dr. Nafeesa Jalal is also available on a limited basis for speaking engagements such as keynote speeches. She also frequently contributes to panel discussions on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.She has a life-long passion for sharing her knowledge and experiences in DEI-B with others.
